Thank you to Richard Lloyd last month for providing a very informative presentation on seismic bracing. His talk was full of technical information and guidelines for items not often taken into consideration by design engineers. Mr. Lloyd was brought to Boise by Innovative Air so I would like to thank them as well.

Have you ever been to a CRC (Chapter Regional Conference)? If not, I suggest attending one. This year the conference will be held in Springfield, MO on August 12^th, 13^th, and 14^th. CRC’s are surprisingly fun and provide for a good family vacation. Business for the Region is conducted on all 3 days, but there is substantial time leftover for fun and recreation. I have attended 3 CRC’s and have enjoyed each of them thoroughly. Each chapter sends representatives to provide feedback at the regional level and make decisions about current and future policies.
